We've washed these several times in the dishwasher and they look like new. No scratches, even, from spoons. They have a great feel, like a clay bowl, only lighter. We are really liking these bowls but one already cracked. I'm not sure why. Kind of a bummer because I really like them.

Bought these to substitute plastic for my kids. I've been very impressed so far. I should have done a bit more research on how fragile bamboo hearts is though, that's on me. I had a bowl break the first week we had it but I contacted the company and they took excellent care of me. Some amazing customer service. Now that I know more about bamboo hearts I will be sure to keep an extra eye on the little ones. I will be buying from these guys again
